The New European Bauhaus (NEB)

Launched by the European Commission, the New European Bauhaus (NEB) is a cross-disciplinary initiative that aims to rethink the future of our living places. It is structured around three core principles:

  • Beautiful: inspired by art and culture, responding to needs beyond functionality.
  • Sustainable: in harmony with nature, the environment, and our planet.
  • Together: encouraging a dialogue across cultures, disciplines, genders and ages.

Throughout its duration (from October 2022 to March 2025), the Nebula project organised several activities to support the widespread adoption of New European Bauhaus concepts and practices:

  • The NEB handbook

This handbook explains the concepts underlying the New European Bauhaus, as well as detailing the initiative’s associated resources and opportunities. This document is also designed as a tool for B4Ps network of NEB Advisors. Download the handbook here: NEB Handbook

Content taken from the NEB handbook outlining the core values, working principles and the ambition levels of the NEB.

  • Webinars: New Bauhaus stories

A series of webinars was organised and delivered with various stakeholders to explore all aspects of the New European Bauhaus. Learn more about the webinars here

  • Network of NEB Advisors

NEB Advisors are individuals within local ecosystems of the construction industry who serve as a point of contact for information and support about the NEB. More information can be found here
